"Realizing Dreams"

Life without dreams is like life of a bird without wings. Dream is a state of mind which fantasizes an event (past, present, and future), action or thoughts. Everyone dreams of something; to be millionaire... but only few, follow their dreams. The person, who realize one's dream, is fortunate but the person who follow one's dream, is the happiest person on this earth. Before following one's dream, one should realize one's dream; it is not an easy task, as everything is not provided on the platter. Dreams can't be forced. It's the passion for something, which decides the form of dreaming. Dreams can be intense, moderate or pure fantasy. Fantasy is: When a person dreams to be millionaire, without putting in efforts to chase that dream. Another person dreams of finding the hidden treasure, He chases his dream and sets on a treasure hunt in the vague hope of attaining a treasure. Obstacles come in his way, posing a serious threat to his dream but his heart gave him the courage and finally he found that hidden treasure. This was the intense dream.

Going after the dream has a price. But however costly it may be, it is never as high as the price paid by the people who didn't live. Dreams are risky, they test your will; if passed, treasure lies in the hands of a dreamer. When I was a sophomore, I aspired to be a technical writer. I started writing my own blogs in the hope that someday my name will flash on the top page of Google. I jotted random stuff, unaware of the fact, whether it will strike the audience or not. I composed poems, short stories and donated them to several websites. After one month, my blogs received 100+ page views, my passion for writing increased and I started preparing for PI.

After my graduation, I started maintaining my writing portfolio and applied for various jobs. I got some relevant calls and I set my foot forward. I appeared for couple of Content writing interview, but in vein. My hope was breaking down but my heart kept me focused. Then finally, I appeared for another Tech writing interview, in one of the most reputed company to start of, as a Tech Writer. At first, I was dubious, but I managed to clear all five rounds, and got my first break, as a Technical Writer. I was not able to believe that I did the unexpected. I saw a dream, I realized it, I followed it, and finally I triumphed over it. That day, I realized that the dreams seen with the open/closed eyes are meant to be true, provided you know how and where to start.

There's no better joy, than the joy of conquering an unknown fantasy. So, instead of wasting your life... Make an attempt to chase your dreams and feel the joy associated with it. It's an undefined mystic feeling which is experienced only by the Conqueror (Dreamer) as it makes life, worth living and indeed more beautiful.
